Jackie has been guiding nature immersion experiences since 2017. She cherishes the opportunities to witness the power and beauty of each experience, and how quickly the participants get to reset their nervous systems to be more balanced and more in harmony with their own selves and with the larger community of the More-Than-Human-World. As a PhD student, she also has a keen interest in contributing to the increasing body of research in the field of forest therapy in new ways.
As of November 2018, Jackie has been engaged as a mentor and trainer of guides by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides (ANFT), the organization that trained her as a guide. Some of her favorite things to do are reading, gardening, walking or hiking, yoga, journal writing, traveling, and having meaningful conversations with friends.
